Privacy

GoldGuide is a small hobby project by Aramis King. It keeps as little about you as it can.

What we keep

• Your username. Others never see it.
• Your password, scrambled. It is scrambled on your own PC before it is sent, and scrambled again on the server. Nobody can read it, not even Aramis.
• Your email. Only to confirm your account and to send password-reset links. Never shown, sold or shared, and no newsletters.
• Your mob numbers from GoldGuide Sync: kills, drops and zones, with the time of the upload and the app version.

What we never keep

• Character names, your Battle.net account, your real name or your IP address.
• Chat, gold logs, personal logs or anything else from your save file. The app sends only the mob numbers.

Who helps run it

• Cloudflare hosts the website and the database.
• Resend delivers the confirm and reset emails.

Community drop rates

Every night, all players' numbers are added together into one community file. It has no names in it.

Deleting your account

Account page > Delete account. Your account, your key and your uploaded numbers are deleted. Numbers already added to the community file stay, because they can't be told apart from anyone else's.
